Paestum is the town of the famous Temples, the most beautiful of the Magna Grecia, and the Sanctuary of Hera Argiva one of the most important archeological findings of '900. The Archeological Museum preserves precious findigns among them the most important and famous one is the "Tuffatore Grave". This area is situated in the Nature Reserve of Foce Sele - Tanagro and it has very long beaches with fine and golden sand. There are a great number of equipped bathing establishments with opportunities of leisure and entertainment. Paestum is a few minutes from Agropoli, the biggest centre in Cilento. |
